A Senior Business Process Engineer at Ferrili Information Group, Andrew Russell brings over ten years experience as an IT analyst in higher education. His particular skills with Envision coding, SQL servers and Datatel Colleague’s maintenance make him unusually valuable for troubleshooting and problem-solving these applications.

He is proficient as an Envision developer, and has written and maintained Envision code for Web Advisor (customizing many modules), Datatel’s degree audit and financial modules, ELF data imports, and user interface form design.  He has designed, implemented, and maintained both SQL and Oracle servers.

Overseeing migrations to upgraded versions of Datatel is a process he has completed effectively several times. Since the interface is integral for user satisfaction, he works specifically on designing forms to meet those needs.

Andrew received his computer science training at Dallas Baptist College. He is an Oracle Certified Administrator and an IBM Certified P-Series Administrator. He is proficient in Visual C#, C++, Java, KSH Shell scripting, Envision,  and SQL and has extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 & 2008, Oracle 10g and 11g, Unidata, Windows, Windows Server, AIX, and Linux.
