Jamey Palmieri

Jamey has more than 13 years of progressive experience in Higher Education beginning as a work study student at Florida State University. Jamey has worked at institutions of various size and scope ranging from a very large, public institution to a very small, technical college. Jamey has managed all of the day to day administrative functions of a college and brings significant experience creating and managing a “One-Stop Shop” for enrollment services. Jamey has spent the last several years working within the Senior Management team of the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology and has led the charge that resulted in over a 35% increase in enrollment while reducing institutional financial aid spending by 40%. She has expertise in all aspects of Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Accounts and the Registrar’s Offices.  Jamey has worked within institutions as a staff member, director, dean and consultant.

Jamey has successfully implemented administrative processes that have exponentially increased efficiency.  Jamey has expertise working with university administrators and staff to examine business processes and devise integrated solutions designed to increase efficiency while focusing on creating a positive customer service experience for students and families.  She has also developed various types of functional reports designed to provide upper management with pertinent information in a concise and easily accessible format.

Jamey has served in leadership roles throughout her career including serving as Director of Financial Aid at Mitchell College, Dean College and Curry College. Jamey has also spent time in a consultant role prior to Ferrilli Information Group where she assisted several community colleges in the process of preparing their student records for audits and program reviews. With Jamey’s excellent problem solving and team building skills, she is able to assist our clients in creating solutions that meet everyone’s needs.

Jamey holds a Master of Arts degree from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stetson University. Jamey was honored with the Massachusetts Association of Student Financial Aid Administrator’s Presidential Award in 2006 for her outstanding service and dedication. She has also spent countless hours serving on state and regional committees.
