John is a Senior Business Process Engineer for Ferrilli Information Group and he holds a BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering. John Stauffer has developed an impressive repertoire of technology skillsets over the years.  In his career he has worked with higher education institutions, corporate banking centers, and software development agencies.

Specific to Datatel Clients, John has been able to master Unibasic and Envision Basic programming to provide support for custom and delivered product module.  He has also had quite a bit of experience working with end users to identify key transactional elements and reports that assist in making executive level decisions for the institution through the use of reporting feature that he developed in ASP.NET and VB.NET.  He has experience with Entrinsik’s Informer 3.x and 4.x production.

John has also administered and worked with many different types of databases which include MS SQL, MySQL, Unidata, and Oracle.  In addition to these databases he has been able to develop an understanding of many different syntaxes such as: Envision, Unibasic, C++, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Java, CSS, HTML/XHTML, XML/XSLT, JavaScript, Perl, PHP, and CGI Scripting.  By leveraging all of these abilities John has provided invaluable integrations to systems that are otherwise disparate such as his work with piecing together Datatel Colleague and the CBORD Card Access System.

By working closely with colleagues and end users John has shown time and time again that he is able to bridge the gap between administration and information technology.  Whether it is developing an end user training, listening to a client to isolate and issue, or working hard to get the job done, John consistently delivers.
