Maurice Simpkins possesses unique and widely applicable programming skills to benefit clients in Higher Education.  With the exception of a one year stint in Corporate America, Maurice has worked exclusively for colleges and universities within the United States.

As a Datatel Colleague ERP consultant, Maurice has strong skills in programming ERP Datatel Colleague System, with a unique focus on the individual client’s needs.  He is adept at creating Envision screens and reports and programming custom UI’s for campus users. 

With the Datatel environment, Maurice uses Unibasic as well as Envision programming.  With Datatel’s WebAdvisor, he has completed Web Page programs, including on-line registration set-up, custom screens, and maintenance routines. 

While a school’s Datatel Colleague system may contain proprietary language, Maurice utilized Envision screens and reports to set up ELF imports, and programming UIs for users.  He is familiar with Crystal Reports and has integrated them with Business Objects Servers, of which he can serve as Administrator.

To round out his portfolio of programming skills, Maurice writes Visual Basic macros, modules in Microsoft Access and Excel, to manipulate data into correct formats.  He has also performed internal auditing of IT departments according to Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
