Christopher Adams
Director of Information Technology and Application Development

Chris is the Director of Information Technology and Application Development with Ferrilli Information Group, and has experience with a wide range of Datatel products and reporting solutions, such as Entrinsik Informer.  Currently he is placed at the University of Sciences in Philadelphia as the Director of Database Operations.  Prior to joining FIG, Chris worked for a college as a Datatel Programmer, Project Manager, and Assistant Registrar.  He was the lead contact/programmer for the conversion to Release 18, which further developed his acumen in Envision programming, and computed column conversion and solutions, all of which prepared him for the role of Colleague Administrator, which he later filled.

Additional experience includes:

• Deployment and administration of Entrinsik Informer
• Deployment, administration, and maintenance of WebAdvisor 3+
• Installation, administration, and upgrading of Datatel’s Active Campus Portal
• Integration of LDAP with Datatel Colleague, WebAdvisor, and other third part products
• Development of a custom Student Monitoring module with web front-end

In addition to Chris’s years of applied experience in Information Technology, he also holds a BS in Mathematics from Westfield State College and an MBA from Suffolk University.  By blending these disciplines, Chris has been able to combine his analytical skills and his proficiency in business administration to isolate programmatic issues for clients, while bringing an additional perspective to the larger solution.

Chris prides himself on working hard for clients, ensuring that all expectations are being met during the projects’ lifecycle, and that he remains upfront with clients on all aspects of the project.  Chris continues his education pursuing a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification through the Project Management Institute.
