Ferrilli Information Group Celebrates Six Years of Dedication to Higher Education

MEDIA, PA, August, 2009 -- For more than six years, Ferrilli Information Group (FIG) has been providing technology consulting services to the higher education industry.  Since its inception in 2003, FIG has remained focused on bridging the gap between higher education and technology by providing consulting expertise for Datatel ERP systems.  In celebration of its sixth anniversary, FIG today announces the introduction of the Student Active Restriction Alert.  Student Active Restrictions Alert is a custom WebAdvisor workflow that allows the student, with active registration restrictions on record, an opportunity to resolve those issues before proceeding to the registration forms in WebAdvisor.  This new solution is being offered at the reduced rate of $5,999 (regularly $7,500) through September 30, 2009.  With Student Active Restriction Alert, when a student tries to register for classes and has active restriction on record, they will be redirected to the custom Active Restrictions screen.  The Active Restrictions screen will display the hold details and an instruction message the institution provides on the steps that need to be taken to resolve the restriction.  Once the restriction is resolved the student will be able to register normally.  This solution relieves the stress of students going through the entire registration process only to find that they are unable to complete their registration due to a hold on their record.
